OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Handcrafted in Aberdeenshire, John Campbell Woodturning was created after John retired and was gifted a voucher for a woodturning session. Since that first bowl it has become a passion for John, with him acquiring a lathe and spending many hours in his shed turning

 

John likes to embrace natural features of the wood he uses, and tries to make every item unique. These are bespoke pieces that are made to show off the best qualities of each carefully selected section of wood. This passion project has turned into a healthy obsession and John has built up a catalogue of items for you to enjoy.
