Bit of experimentation in the 'The Shed'. I have couple some oak with padouk (an reddishy tropical hardwood) to make this 8 inch/ 20cm diameter bowl. It stands 4 inches/ 10cm high.
The bowl is finished with a clear Chestnut wax.
